Site Right

Data and licences

In effect from October 23, 2026

Site Right is built on public and open data. We collect it, check it, join it parcel by parcel and score it; each source keeps its own licence, and each asks for the credit shown here. Site Right's scores, zoning readings, confidence labels and briefings are our own work.

How you may use what you see in Site Right is set by section 6 of the Terms: for your own work and your deals, not for copying or resale.

OpenStreetMap

Power lines and substations are © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License. A Google Earth or spreadsheet file you export from Site Right that contains lines or substations contains OpenStreetMap data: keep the credit, and if you share the file publicly, share that data under the same licence.

Accuracy

Public records lag and contain mistakes: a county roll can carry last year's owner, a map line can be off by a field's width, a code can change after we read it. Each fact in Site Right says where it came from and how sure we are. Tell us about anything wrong and we will check it.
