Questions
- What counts against the monthly amounts?
- Opening a site's full profile (each site once a month, however often you open it), each question to the assistant, and each site written to a Google Earth or spreadsheet file. Browsing the map, filtering, searching and the grid layers are not counted.
- What happens when an amount runs out?
- That part pauses until the first of the month; the rest keeps working. You can move to a bigger plan at any time, and the change applies at once.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, from Plans and billing, at any time. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Where does the data come from?
- Public and open sources: county and state parcel records, OpenStreetMap, ERCOT, FEMA, the EIA, USGS and each locality's own code. See Data and licences.
- Does Site Right tell me a substation has capacity?
- No. Spare capacity at a substation is not published anywhere. Site Right shows the voltage, the distance and the planned upgrades, and tells you who to ask.
